Reported outcomes — Head & brain9 reported cases

Individual cases reported by the named source below. These are other people's cases, not our results and not typical. Where a lowest and highest are shown, they are simply the smallest and largest of these cases — not an average, not a market rate, and not a prediction for any case. How we report outcomes.

Experience that fits

Your case type. Your state. Your call.

Find A Tough Lawyer is a legal media and lead-generation service, not a law firm. We explain what affects a case like yours, in plain language, and pass your request on only when you ask us to.

What you can hold us to

Nothing publishes here until a licensed attorney approves it. Every figure names the source that published it, with its date. We never predict what a case is worth, never rank attorneys, and never sell your details on. Fees, if you go further, are agreed directly with an attorney and explained in their written agreement.

Common questions

You have questions. Start here.

Can I afford a lawyer?

Many injury matters are handled on a contingency basis, which means the attorney's fee comes out of any money recovered. Terms differ between attorneys and between kinds of case — criminal defence usually works differently. Ask any attorney you speak to about the percentage, the expenses, and what you would owe if there is no recovery, and get it in writing.

How much is my case worth?

A reliable assessment considers the evidence, responsibility, treatment, financial losses, future needs, insurance and applicable law. An injury label or someone else's settlement cannot establish your value. This form prepares a request for review; it does not calculate a payout.

What if I may have been partly at fault?

Tell us what you remember, including what you are unsure about. Responsibility rules vary by state and by claim. Choosing Yes or Not sure does not automatically reject your inquiry.

Have I waited too long?

Deadlines depend on the location, the claim, the parties and the dates. Some administrative deadlines are much shorter than a lawsuit deadline. Submitting this form does not file a claim or pause any deadline.

Should I accept the insurance company's offer?

Before deciding, ask a qualified lawyer to explain the proposed release, what losses it covers, and what rights you may give up. Keep the written offer and related communications.

What about medical bills and missed work?

Record your treatment, invoices, time away from work and ongoing limitations. A lawyer can evaluate which losses may be recoverable; workers' compensation has its own benefit rules.

Will I have to go to court, and how long will it take?

Neither timing nor settlement can be promised. Ask your lawyer about the likely stages, whether litigation may be needed, and how you will receive updates. Your circumstances should guide the strategy.

Will I be judged, or face retaliation for speaking up?

You deserve a respectful conversation. Share what you feel ready to explain. Employment retaliation can raise separate legal issues; ask a lawyer about your circumstances. This intake is not a privileged attorney-client conversation.

Is Find A Tough Lawyer a law firm?

No. We are a legal media and lead-generation service. No one here is your attorney, nothing on this site is legal advice, and we do not rank attorneys or decide who is best for you.

What happens after I send my request?

Your request is saved for review and you see a confirmation on screen. Attorney referrals are not switched on yet, so your details are not sent to any attorney; we will say so plainly on this site when that changes. No one can promise that an attorney will take a case, and no review produces a valuation.
